If nothing changes, how will you feel a year from now?
You may have an idea of where you want to go, or you might just know you want things to be different.
Therapy, coaching and mentoring can help you work out the direction you want to go and how to start heading there.
My passion is helping people go from feeling stuck, lost, overwhelmed or traumatised to feeling happier, coping better, becoming healthier and living the life they want.
What could this mean to you?
Less stress or low moods, improved relationships with yourself and others, perhaps more self-esteem and confidence, better sleep, better self-care and a healthier mindset or maybe it’s about putting the past behind you once and for all.
You don't have to be ill to feel better!
I have helped many people simply discover more about themselves and how they relate to the world.
Who I work with
I work online one-to-one with anyone over the age of 18.
I offer both long and short term work, according to your individual needs, budget and lifestyle.
How much does it cost?
I charge £55 per session, sessions typically last between 50-60 minutes.
I charge £80 for a 'double' session where we can work to a deeper level for longer. These sessions are 90 minutes long. (This type of session may not be suitable for all clients so please discuss this with me for more details).
How many sessions will I need?
We can work towards your goals right from session one - there's never any long forms or questionnaires to fill out during our sessions so you get the full session to focus entirely on you.
As you may know, most GP surgeries and counselling services/charities will only offer you 6 sessions. Although alot of good work can be done over 6 sessions you may decide that's not right for you.
Choosing a private therapy option with a private counsellor gives a lot more freedom to decide how and when you access therapy and for how long.
You may decide you want a fixed amount of sessions, if you are working towards as event, special occasion or have a specific budget set aside for therapy. I am experienced in offering short term, solution focussed therapy and we can get a lot done together in a short time.
However, lots of people like to keep their counselling open ended and that's OK too. We will do regular check-ins together to make sure you're still getting as much as you can out of therapy and review our goals along the way.
How do we work together?
You are the priority in our sessions.
I will listen to you without judgement and I don't make any assumptions.
I don't make a habit out of giving advice but I can help you work out what is best after listening to what's going on in your life, learning how you feel about it and exploring different options to work through what might be getting in the way of you living the life you'd love to.
I am a Pluralistic Counsellor and Trauma-Informed Psychotherapist - this simply means that I have trained in many different types of therapies, all of which can be adapted and tailored to suit you and what you need from therapy right now.

Don't worry if home isn't quiet or private enough.
I'm happy to Zoom from your car, your office, your mates house, a park bench on a country lane or anywhere else that's private, confidential and quiet with a decent and reliable wi-fi or phone signal!
Having had therapy myself, I really recognise that taking those first steps to finding help can feel extremely daunting.
I am more than happy to talk with you about counselling and answer any questions you may have.
