You came into this work because you care deeply about people.
Now you hold complex stories, risk, safeguarding, patterns you cannot quite name and those clients who sit on your shoulder long after the session has finished.
On paper you know what you are doing. You have the training, the hours and the ethics all sorted. Yet there are days when you still feel like you are making it up as you go along, juggling client work with your own life struggles and pressure to “get it right” always lingering in the back of your mind.
I work with counsellors who want supervision to be more than a tick-box exercise.
Supervisees who want a space where they can bring their whole selves. The parts that feel steady and skilled, alongside the places that feel wobbly, unsure or totally stuck.
In supervision with me you can:
Our work together is down-to-earth, reflective and practical.
My role is to walk alongside you as a thoughtful collaborator. To ask curious questions, notice themes and encourage you to honour your strengths as well as your growing edges.
We pay attention to your client work, your felt sense, your relationships within teams, agencies and private practice and the wider context you are working in.
When it fits, I bring in creative supervision methods to help you see things from a fresh angle.
Supervisees often tell me they leave sessions feeling clearer, lighter, less alone and more confident in their own judgement and practice. They feel more themselves in the therapy room and that naturally benefits their clients too.
If you are looking for supervision that supports you as a whole person, as well as a practitioner, you are very welcome here.
When supervision is effective, you feel more confident, more resourced and more connected to your work.

Both BACP and NCPS recommend 1.5 hours of supervision per month for qualified counsellors.
I offer flexible options to meet your needs:
If you’re working toward accreditation, a minimum of 90 minutes per month is mandatory, which I can provide in line with professional body requirements.
Alongside clinical supervision, I offer the option to weave in gentle business coaching and mentoring. Many counsellors feel steady in the therapy room but much less sure when it comes to fees, visibility and the day to day of running a practice.
Before developing Path to Practice I spent over 20 years in business, running two successful companies and collecting a few awards along the way too. These days I love using that experience to help therapists build practices that feel ethical, sustainable and very much led by their values. A business with a heart, not a hard sell.
If it feels useful, we can use part of your supervision time to look at things like:
You stay in charge of the focus. Some supervisees dip into business themes occasionally, others like a more regular blend. Either way, the aim is to help your practice support you, as well as the clients you serve.

Since qualifying as a Clinical Supervisor in 2020 (and as a trauma-trained Pluralistic Counsellor for over a decade), I’ve really enjoyed combining humanistic, creative and practical approaches within my practice to help individuals grow with confidence and build lives and businesses they thrive in!
I trained in Supervision under the inspirational Jenny Biancardi – a well respected figure in the counselling world who worked with pioneers such as Carl Rogers and John Wilson. Her mix of human-ness, knowledge, humour and compassion continues to shape my work today, long after her well deserved retirement!
My supervision draws on:
This means we don’t just look at “what happened in the session,” but also at your client’s process, your process, and the bigger picture of your practice.
Starting supervision with someone new can feel like a big step, which is why I offer a free 30-minute introductory session online.
If you are a counsellor or psychotherapist looking for a supervisor, you already know how important the supervisory relationship is.
Supervision is where you can reflect on your client work, explore ethical challenges, and look after your own wellbeing. It is also the space where you grow as a practitioner.
But here’s the thing: not every supervisor will feel like the right fit. The best supervision relationships are built on trust, openness, and genuine collaboration.
That is why I offer trial supervision taster sessions, so you can get a feel for how we might work together before making a longer-term commitment.
This isn’t a full supervision session of course, but rather a chance for us to meet, talk about what you’re looking for, and see whether we feel like a good fit to work together. My usual confidentiality and professional guidelines apply.

I supervise counsellors and psychotherapists at all stages of their career:
I also have experience in creative supervision, private practice development, and working with therapists in specialist areas such as trauma, workplace counselling, and wellbeing retreats.
